Title:Intense terahertz radiation from gas targets irradiated by multi-color laser pulses
Abstract:A scheme is presented to generate high intensity single-cycle terahertz pulses by multi-color laser pulses with gas targets. The generation mechanism is examined with analysis and 2d-PIC simulation, in which tunneling ionization and subsequent electron motion in the combined laser field play a key role.

Title: GeFi Simulation of Parametric Instability of LHWs
Abstract:Parametric instability of LHWs has been extensively analyzed due to great interest in rf heating of plasmas and current drive in fusion devices, such as tokamaks. Parametric instability is a wave-wave interaction process among multiple wave modes. We take care of two cases. First is simulation of three low hybrid waves parametric instability in both 2D and 3D cases which is according to the paper of E. Ott in 1975. Second is simulation of two low hybrid waves and one ion acoustic wave in 3D case which is according to the paper of L. Chen in 1977. The result shows the waves get some interaction.
