Abstract: Title: Gyrokinetic simulation of edge instability with EAST plasma parameters

Abstract: This work uses the gyrokinetic simulation with realistic magnetic equilibrium, temperature and density profiles, which are given by EFIT to simulate the instability in pedestal(ECM). The resultant dispersion relation shows a frequency staircase jump with the perpendicular wavelength decreases. The lowest frequency in the staircase matches the experiment value. We find that the density gradient in the pedestal has a great impact on the dispersion relation, We also study the influence of different collisionality and shaping effect using an analytic equilibrium.

Abstract: We have study the influence on laser pulse propagation in condensed plasma with gratings surface construction. To compare flat surface with gratings surface ,we find that gratings surface will enhance the laser pulse's penetrability in overdense plasma.
