Abstract: Electron turbulence induced by trapped electron mode (TEM) is widely studied by researchers. The collisionless trapped electron mode (CTEM) is well understood by scientists. But at tokamak edge, the collison effect becomes very strong. A different kinds of TEM called dissipative trapped electron mode (DTEM) would play an important role at tokamak edge, which is considered to be the reason causing the so calle edge coherent mode (ECM). Nonlinear gyrokinetic simulations using gyrokinetic toroidal code (GTC) code are carried out to discuss the transport and nonliear cascading at tokamak edge.
