Title: Linear properties simulation of energetic particle induced geodesic acoustic mode with bump-on-tail distribution
Abstract: Energetic particle (EP) driven geodesic acoustic mode (EGAM) by bump-on-tail ion beam distribution is simulated with a hybrid simulation code. Based on the original anisotropic slowing-down EP distribution function, we derived the bump-on-tail distribution function. The EGAM eigenfunction, frequency and growth rate for different EP beam distributions are investigated.
