Title: Beam-plasma interaction at high energy density regime
Abstract:
Classical plasma is typically of low density and high temperature. With the increasing of plasma density and decreasing of plama temperature, quantum effect emerges and the beam-plasma interactions will show different behavior with classical cases. In this talk, we present qunatum landau damping and beam-plasma instability obtained via Quantum Boltzmann Equation (QBE) with Hatree approximation. The simularity and discrepancy between high energy density and classical plasmas are discussed.
