Title: Learning and developing DAEPS code
Abstract: DAEPS (Drift Alfven Energetic particle stability) is a linear stability eigenvalue code, based on finite element method, which is designed to investigate linear physics of various drift-Alfvenic modes in magnetic fusion plasmas. In this talk, we will introduce the theoretical model and numerical algorithms implemented in the DAEPS. Meanwhile, we will show some benchmark cases about the beta induced Alfvenic instability. Future plans will be discussed as well
