FPT简介


1. The Focused Physics Team 1 (FPT01): Turbulence and Coherent Structures in Plasmas

A. Reasons:

1) Good background: we have good working bases in theory, simulation and experiment, and, therefore, enough personnel and facility resources.

2) Importance: this is a very important topic of basic plasma physics and nonlinear dynamics, with significant application potential for transport and confinement in magnetized plasmas.

3) Objectives: Advances in this area will certainly have significant effects on ITER and magnetic fusion

4) Feasibility: this is a topic interested by quite a few researchers, easily attracting attention.

2. The Focused Physics Team 2 (FPT02): Energetic Particle Physics in Burning Plasmas

A. Reasons

1) Good background: we have good working bases in theory, simulation as well as some experimental observations (e-fishbone, energetic ions from ICRH etc.).

2) Requirements from experiments: more experimental observations and corresponding requirements for theoretical support will increase due to increase of auxiliary power in coming two years.

3) Objectives: This is an important topic faced by the ITER project and magnetic fusion community

4) Feasibility: There are quite a few researchers interested in this topic.

(3) The Focused Physics Team 3 (FPT03):Laser plasma interaction

A. Topic:

Energetic particle sources and new radiation sources from relativistic high power laser-plasma interaction
