TitleA brief introduction of theory models of Laser Plasma Accelerator
Abstract
Laser Plasma Accelerator (LPA) has been paid lots of attention because of its outstanding features: very large accelerating field, short burst duration and low emittance. However the physical picture of LPA is complex and confusing. Several theory models have been developed and can explain some phenomena of LPA in different conditions. A brief introduction of these theory models is given in this report.

Title:
Effects of pulse duration on ultra-thin foil acceleration
Abstract:
The interaction of a circularly polarized pulse and an ultra-thin overdense foil is investigated considering the influence of laser pulse duration. One dimensional particle-in-cell simulation shows that with an appropriate laser pulse rising edge, the light pressure acceleration regime is effective even though the thin foil is transparent. By using the two-ion-species shaped foil and adjusting the denstiy of proton, the acceleration result is improved.
