Title: KBAE simulation with AWECS code
KBAE (kinetic beta-induced Alfvén eigenmode) is a low frequency Alfvén eigenmode when kinetic thermal ion compression is considered. Introduction of AWECS code is given simply according to the paper (A. Bierwage, L. Chen, Commun. Comput. Phys., 2008, 4, 457). Then the KBAE results excited by antenna and energetic particles with AWECS code are separately discussed and compared with Zhang's results obtained by GTC code (H. S. Zhang, Z. Lin, I. Holod, et al. Physics of plasmas, 2010, 17, 112505).

Title: Framework for solving PDEs from plasma fluid models
Abstract:
A code for plasma fluid models will be presented. The code uses implicit time integrator, and it is parallelized in 3 dimensions, with a 2D Poisson solver. 3D Poisson solver is also under developing. Some simple benchmarking have been carried out, and will be shown in the presentation.

Title: Nonlinear simulations of beta-induced Aflven eigenmode excited by purely circulating energetic particles
Nonlinear simulations of Beta--‐induced Alfvén eigenmode (BAE) excited by energetic particles in Tokamak plasmas have been studied by an extended version of the Hybrid Magnetohydrodynamic Gyrokinetic Code (XHMGC). Different dynamics of deeply trapped and circulating enegetic particles have been demonstrated with both phase space structures and test particle behaviors. Nonlinear dynamics is found to depend crucially on the non--‐uniformities and geometry. Transports of the resonant particles, furthermore, reflect the non--‐local nature of the nonlinear dynamics.
