Title: Introduction to NBI and energetic particles distribution function
Abstract: As the limitation of Ohmic heating, we can use Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) to heat the plasma. Based on some assumptions, we can derive the slowing-down distribution function for energetic particles. And then we give some examples of distribution function used in simulations. Finally, we discuss some basic physics of Alfvén instabilities driven by energetic particles, such as TAE and EP.

Title: 1D collisional PIC model for interaction of microwave and electrons in gases
Abstract: A collisional PIC code has been developed to study the electron acceleration and electric discharge in gas. Collisional processes between electron and gas molecules can be simulated by a Monte Carlo Collisional (MCC) method. Here the 1D laser-plasma PIC code - JPIC is combined with the MCC that was modified to match large time step - of PIC. The interaction of relativistic microwave and plasmas is performed by means of this PIC-MCC code, and other static-electric testing results are also shown.
