Topic: A brief introduction and numerical simulation of solitons and wave collapse
Abstract:
A basic understanding of fundamental properties and dynamical behaviors of the soliton is necessary. In this presentation, the simulation for study the solitons, which include the formation and collision, will be introduced.
Next, an introduction of the physics of wave collapse and turbulence is provide, followed by more detailed numerical treatment. Wave collapse is a most exciting phenomena and is of critical importance in plasma physics and nonlinear physics. In the present work, we have numerically explored the generation of wave collapse and turbulences by Modulational Instability(Solve the Nonlinear Schrödinger eq.). The result of the numerical simulations of wave collapse and turbulence, will be discussed.
