Faculty Positions at Institute for Fusion Theory and Simulation, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China
The Institute for Fusion Theory and Simulation (IFTS), Zhejiang University (ZJU), China has become an important research center of fusion theory and simulation in China since its founding in 2006. IFTS currently has 9 faculty members and over 30 graduate students. IFTS is seeking candidates for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the areas of plasma physics including magnetic confinement fusion, high energy density physics, and space & Astro physics with priorities on theory and large-scale simulations. IFTS welcomes applicants from all over the world. Candidates should hold a PhD in Physics, or a related area and should have at least two years of postdoctoral experience. The successful applicants are expected to develop and maintain active, externally funded programs of research and to contribute to the education and training of undergraduate and graduate students.
