摘要:Understanding the self-organization of the most promising internal transport barrier in fusion plasmas needs a long-time nonlinear gyrokinetic global simulation. The Neighboring Equilibrium Update method is proposed, which solves the secularity problem in a perturbative simulation and speeds up the numerical computation by more than 10 times. It is found that the internal transport barrier emerges at the magnetic axis due to inward propagated turbulence avalanche, and its outward expansion is the catastrophe of self-organized structure induced by outward propagated avalanche.

王少杰,中国科学技术大学物理学教授。1995年于中科院等离子体物理研究所获理学博士学位;2004年获国家自然科学基金委杰出青年基金;先后主持国家自然科学基金9项,科技部重点研发计划3项。长期从事磁约束聚变等离子体物理理论和模拟研究;主要研究领域为托卡马克等离子体平衡、稳定性、输运以及回旋动理学理论和模拟。
