报告题目:Fine Structure of E×B Flows Driven by the Fishbone Instability in Tokamak Plasmas

The E×B flow driven by the fishbone instability has been directly measured for the first time in the EAST tokamak. In contrast with the global structure supposed previously, the fine and reversed structure within the q=1 rational surface has been revealed by experimental measurements, which has been validated by the global nonlinear gyrokinetic simulations. This flow originates from the zonal radial electric field generated by the instability. Notably, the fine structure is determined by both the thermal ions and electrons rather than fast ions. It suggests that this fine flow structure induced by fishbone may exert distinct effects on turbulence, compared with the global structure.
个人简介:
蔡辉山,中国科学技术大学教授。近年来主要围绕国际热核聚变实验堆(ITER)计划面临的关键性物理问题,即对磁流体不稳定性、运行极限和破裂(主要是撕裂模(包括新经典撕裂模)、电阻壁模、逃逸电子)、快粒子物理、约束与输运(湍流)、磁流体不稳定性与快粒子的相互作用等方面进行了一定的研究。主持基金委青年科学基金项目(A类)(原国家杰青项目)、优秀青年科学项目、中科院青促会优秀会员专项、ITER专项项目等,获安徽省自然科学二等奖,在 Phys. Rev. Lett.,Nat. Sci. Rev.,Nucl. Fusion 等国际学术期刊上发表论文五十多篇。
任IPAC成员(IAEA-EP国际顾问委员会,中国两成员之一),ITPA-EP(国际托卡马克物理组织-快粒子物理专题)成员。
