第十六届西湖国际会议——聚变与空间等离子体物理研讨会于2026年4月10日至12日在浙江省杭州市浙江世贸君澜大饭店成功举行。会议由浙江大学物理学院和浙江大学聚变理论与模拟中心(IFTS)主办。本次会议旨在为国内外科学家搭建交流平台,共同探讨聚变能源与空间等离子体物理领域的最新进展与前沿科学问题。会议聚焦聚变能源、空间等离子体、基础等离子体物理及惯性约束聚变等方向,涵盖了从基础理论到工程应用的广泛议题。浙江大学科研院院长居冰峰出席开幕式并致欢迎辞。他向远道而来的海内外专家学者表示热烈欢迎,并介绍了浙江大学在基础研究与前沿探索方面的布局与成果。会议期间,与会学者围绕磁约束聚变中的阿尔芬波物理、高能量粒子输运、微观湍流与输运垒、托卡马克与仿星器中的约束优化、空间物理中的磁重联与波动现象,以及惯性约束聚变中的新型点火方案等前沿课题进行了深入交流。本届会议共有来自美国、意大利、法国、日本、韩国等多个国家和地区的9位境外代表参会,国内代表来自北京大学、清华大学、中国科学技术大学、中国科学院物理研究所、中国科学院等离子体物理研究所、核工业西南物理研究院、上海交通大学、华中科技大学、大连理工大学、四川大学等40余家高校和科研院所,总计约80余位专家学者和学生代表出席会议。会议共安排了33场邀请报告以及34份海报展示。本次会议恰逢浙江大学聚变理论与模拟中心成立二十周年,会议期间举行了简短的纪念活动。同时,为致敬陈骝教授(IFTS首任主任,2006—2016年在任)的卓越学术贡献,会议特别设立了“磁约束等离子体的基本物理过程”专题研讨会。与会代表一致认为,本次会议为国内外等离子体物理与聚变科学领域的学者提供了高水平的学术交流平台,展示了最新研究成果,促进了跨学科合作,将有效推动相关领域的持续发展与创新。Conference Abstract: These Lectures on the Kinetic theory and global dispersion relation of Alfvén waves in tokamaks are the continuation of the Spring 2024 Course on Physics of Alfvén waves and energetic particles in fusion plasmas: Mode structures and global dispersion of Alfvén waves in tokamaks. These Lectures will cover with pedagogical style the first part of Reviews of Modern Physics 88, 015008 (2016). General theoretical aspects are treated in Lectures (1 ÷ 6), which are complemented by corresponding Q&A Sessions. (Lecture 2) iii) Variational formulation and variational principle Integral form of the dispersion relation: Kinetic theory. (Lecture 3) (III) Kinetic description of Alfvén waves in tokamaks iv) The linear gyrokinetic equation and the global dispersion relation of Alfvén waves in toroidal geometry. (Lecture 4) v) Kinetic Alfvén waves and low-frequency Alfvén Eigenmodes in tokamaks. (Lecture 5) vi) Toroidal Alfvén Eigenmodes and Energetic Particle Modes. (Lecture 6)Lecture Notes: Available in electronic form. At the end of each lecture and during the Q&A time, a list of specific reading material is given explicitly. Exercises and Research Projects: In the lecture notes, Exercises (E) of various difficulty levels are suggested. These are meant to be important part of the lectures themselves. Possible topics for Research Projects (RP) are also indicated, which require significant more in depth analysis and work. The 16th International West Lake Symposium on the“Physics of Fusion and Space Plasmas”Hangzhou, China, April 10-12, 2026The 16th International West Lake Symposium on the Physics of Fusion and Space Plasmas (IWLS-2026) will be held in Hangzhou, China, April 10-12, 2026. IWLS-2026 will be hosted by the Institute for Fusion Theory and Simulation (IFTS), the School of Physics, Zhejiang University. The mission of IFTS is to carry out cutting-edge research in plasma physics and fusion energy science as well as training the next generation of plasma physicists.The symposium has been held almost annually with rotating themes since the founding of IFTS in 2006. The purpose of this annual series of symposium is to provide a platform of exchanges between domestic and international scientists on latest developments in plasma physics and fusion energy research. 第十五届西湖国际会议——激光等离子体物理前沿研讨会于2025年6月6日-9日在浙江省杭州市浙江宾馆举行。会议由浙江大学聚变理论与模拟中心主办,就激光等离子体物理,主要涉及激光与等离子体相互作用、惯性约束聚变、激光加速器、新型辐射源、高能量密度物理、极端强场物理、等离子体光学等前沿科学问题的研讨。本次会议由浙江大学聚变理论与模拟中心副主任盛正卯教授、朱兴龙研究员和武慧春教授担任大会组委会与学术负责人。浙江大学物理学院院长林海青院士和聚变理论与模拟中心主任傅国勇教授在开幕式上致开幕词和欢迎词。来自美国、意大利、德国、日本等国家和地区高校和科研院所的6位境外代表参加了此次学术会议,其中包括意大利欧洲核能机构Fulvio Zonca教授、京都大学Yasuaki Kishimoto教授、大阪大学Masakatsu Murakami教授、德国德累斯顿 -罗森多夫亥姆霍兹中心Lingen Huang博士,台湾大学的Pisin Chen教授等。国内北京大学、上海交通大学、上海师范大学、中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所、中科院物理所、中科院高能所、中国科学技术大学、西安交通大学、国防科技大学、北京师范大学、中国人民大学、北京科技大学、西北师范大学、深圳技术大学、华北电力大学、广东省新兴激光等离子体技术研究院和浙江大学等17家单位的61位与会代表(总共67位)参加了会议。国内外学者就自己的最新研究成果贡献了33场邀请报告和 4份张贴报告。

第十三届全国磁约束聚变理论与模拟会议在浙江大学成功举办 2025年5月22日至25日,“第十三届全国磁约束聚变理论与模拟会议”在浙江大学紫金港校区隆重举行。本次会议由中国物理学会等离子体物理分会、中国核学会核聚变与等离子体物理分会、中国核学会计算物理分会以及国家磁约束聚变能发展研究专项理论与模拟项目群联合主办,浙江大学物理学院聚变理论与模拟中心承办,本次会议汇聚了来自中科院等离子体所、核工业西南物理研究院等国家级研究机构,北京大学、清华大学等20余所国内顶尖高校,以及新奥科技发展公司、国家超级计算天津中心等创新企业的300余名专家学者,创历届参会规模之最;与会专家学者围绕磁约束聚变领域的最新研究进展与未来发展方向展开深入探讨。 5月23日上午,会议开幕式在浙江大学紫金港校区理学部201报告厅举行。开幕式由浙江大学物理学院聚变理论与模拟中心主任傅国勇教授主持,浙江大学物理学院院长林海青院士首先致辞,对各位嘉宾的到来表示了热烈欢迎,他指出磁约束聚变研究是解决人类能源问题的重要途径,本次会议的召开将为该领域的发展注入新的活力。组委会代表浙江大学物理学院肖湧教授也在讲话中强调了会议对于促进学术交流、推动学科发展的重要意义。本次会议内容丰富、形式多样,设置了5个大会特邀报告、11个大会报告、67个口头报告和117张墙报展示,涵盖微观不稳定性与输运、集成模拟与程序开发、高能量粒子物理、边缘与偏滤器物理、磁流体不稳定性、加热与电流驱动等多个前沿研究方向。通过主旨报告的深入剖析、专题报告的精准解读以及墙报展示的沉浸式交流,全面呈现了磁约束聚变理论与模拟研究的多维进展,亦为青年科研工作者提供了展示科研成果、交流学术思想的重要平台。在大会特邀报告环节,多位专家带来了精彩的学术分享。核工业西南物理研究院陈伟研究员介绍了“HL-3 托卡马克实验进展与计划”;中国科学院等离子体物理研究所胡建生研究员分享了“EAST超导托卡马克实验进展与计划”;北京应用物理与计算数学研究所王立锋研究员就“激光聚变高压缩内爆研究的挑战与进展”进行了深入探讨。此外,中国科学院等离子体物理研究所仇志勇研究员、华中科技大学郑玮教授等学者分别围绕阿尔芬本征模、人工智能加速磁约束聚变研究等主题作报告,充分展现了跨学科融合的创新成果,为与会者提供了全新的研究视角与方法借鉴。核工业西南物理研究院陈伟研究员介绍了“HL-3 托卡马克实验进展与计划”中国科学院等离子体物理研究所胡建生研究员分享了“EAST超导托卡马克实验进展与计划”北京应用物理与计算数学研究所王立锋研究员探讨了“激光聚变高压缩内爆研究挑战和进展” 5月24日晚,大会墙报展示活动于浙江大学紫金港校区理学部大厅举行,100余位来自全国各高校和研究机构的科研人员在此展示了各自的研究成果,内容涵盖磁约束聚变装置模拟、等离子体湍流输运、高能量粒子物理等多个方向。经过专家评审,会议最终评选出16名优秀研究生海报奖,并在闭幕式上举行了颁奖仪式,这既是对青年学者科研成果的肯定,也为他们今后的学术发展增添了动力。 5月25日上午,会议闭幕式举行。会议执行主席肖湧教授对本次会议的成果进行了总结。他表示,本次会议为磁约束聚变领域的学者提供了高水平的学术交流平台,促进了理论与实验研究的深度融合,也为青年学者的成长提供了有力支持。未来随着中国聚变能研究专项的持续推进,磁约束聚变领域将迎来更多突破性进展。此次会议的成功举办,不仅展示了我国在磁约束聚变领域的科研实力和创新能力,也为国内学者搭建了一座深入交流与合作的桥梁,为推动聚变能科学与技术的发展注入了新的动力。此次会议得到新奥科技发展公司和国家超级计算天津中心的赞助。

The 15th International West Lake Symposium — Frontiers in Laser Plasma Physics1st announcement of this conferenceThe 15th International West Lake Symposium - Frontiers in Laser Plasma Physics (IWLS-2025) will be held in Hangzhou, China, June 6 - 9, 2025. IWLS-2025 will be hosted by the Institute for Fusion Theory and Simulation (IFTS), Zhejiang University (ZJU). The IWLS Symposium series was launched in 2006 when IFTS was established in Zhejiang University. It covers a broad scope on plasma sciences; including laser fusion physics, magnetic fusion physics, space plasma physics, laser plasma physics and high-energy-density physics. IWLS-2025 will cover the following topics: inertial confinement fusion, laser plasma interaction, laser particle accelerator, novel radiation sources, strong-field QED, and other laser-plasma related studies.
